Gingrich vs. Romney: Is GOP primary a two-man race?
In Iowa, Gingrich is leading by about 20 points, threatening Romney. Romney, in the beginning did not find any of his primary rivals as competent but he is taking it back. Romney starts to find ways to attack Gingrich; Romney's ad came out talking about how long he has been married, this is an indirect criticism for Gingrich. Romney also attacked Gingrich's stand on immigration. Gingrich feels that if someone is playing a good citizen in the community, they should try to become a legal US citizen. Gingrich shows passions in what he say and what he is willing to commit to, while Romney do not. Gingrich have changed and might change retrospective voters views.Gingrich is working hard in South Carolina. Romney may not even consider fighting for South Carolina, because they would definitely shun him because he is a mormon. Gingrich gets conservative and might never lose them to Romney, but he might be threatened by Rick Perry. The conservative voters that are standing by him right now can also switch to Rick Perry.
